Happy 52 Singapore!!!

This is the day when one can see staff and students in red and white dress codes and even ethnic clothes walking around the campus.

A day in which all will gather in the triangular plaza to watch the marching contingent by our students and sing the national anthem and say the national pledge.

Today, is the day we all celebrate together our nation’s 52nd independence day!

A tradition over the years, we at the campus celebrate this wonderful event a day earlier ….. joining in the nation festive mood 🙂

I will be missing out this year’s celebration at the plaza since I am on counter duty. Nevertheless, my heart and spirit of being a Singaporean will be there when they sing the national anthem and the pledge 😉

Here’s wishing all Singaporeans …
“Happy National Day!”

Wishing those born in the year 1965 “Happy 52nd Birthday!”

and to my dearest eldest niece …. “Happy 26th Birthday Aishah!”
it’s a double celebration for her every year since her birthday falls on today …. just a day before National Day! 🙂

To commemorate this beautiful day I am posting a few pictures that are nostalgic to me …. reminding myself of how it was in the past. Hope you all will enjoy the sight of these treasured items 🙂

These photos were taken during my visit to the National Museum about 2 years ago.
