A day trip to Cloud Forest and Flower Dome

Yesterday, we went to re-visit the Garden by the Bay and this time cos there’s a 50% reduction in the entry fees for both the conservatories aka Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, finally I had my chanced to go and explore both sites.

For this year, due to our Jubilee Celebration, the Flower Dome displayed “Discover Singapore Stories” theme. The display of various types of orchids and other flowers were magnificent. My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves …. 🙂

Here’s are a few selected shots of these two conservatories.
Enjoy! 🙂

It was pretty crowded but still ok to me. I enjoyed taking photos of the flowers and posing here and there for a quick shot 😉

Next we went to the Cloud Forest, which was just next door. The Cloud Forest was much much more cooler in temperature and it was very interesting to explore the whole forest from top to bottom. The man-made waterfall was simply awesome!

We spent almost more than 4 hours over there and our last destination before we departed was to visit the Children’s Garden. A corner of the garden has been reserved for kids to play and I can see that the kids were having so much fun playing in the playground and splashing through the water plays.  Wish I was a child myself hehee…
