NIE Family Day 2014!

3rd October  2014, Friday. Time from 8.45 am to 4.30 pm.

Our Staff Welfare Committee members presented us with a NIE Family Day event cum Annual Staff Awards Day!

The event took place in campus and the whole day, staff and their family members spent an enjoyable time interacting and participating in the activities and games available throughout the campus.  Lunch, snacks and tea were also provided for all of us. Each of the staff was also given a personal weighing scale as a door gift. I LIKE!

I definitely had fun especially during the team challenge.  Our team did very well, thanks to the large contribution from one of my colleague’s husband.  He made it possible for us to win the Sausage Race and Gladiator Challenge, thus making it possible for our team to gain more points. At the end of the team challenge, our team “Daebak” won first place! Yeayyy!! 🙂

Here are some photos to tell the story of our wonderful family day. Enjoy! 🙂

The day was well-spent and I brought back lots of goodies for the kids …. one of them was this beautifully hand-crafted Owl goodie bag, made by my friend, N. It’s beautiful isn’t it? I LOVE IT! After my kids took out the contents, I folded and kept the paper bag. Too lovely to throw away … 😉

Another memorable and beautiful things I brought back,  are these beautifully made towel origami by yours truly  (if I may say so … hehee ). Various workshops were held for staff such as this Towel Origami and then there were also Sushi Making workshop, Balloon Sculpting Workshops among many others. A good crafting idea and knowledge which I can impart to my girls 🙂
