Lifelong learning

Congratulations to my colleagues, Shao Mun, Yong Yeow and Stephani for completing their Masters in Information Studies. They are attending their graduation ceremony this coming July.  Today all of them has gone to collect their graduating gowns …. I saw the gown, dark blue with very lovely purple and gold stripes at the collar 🙂

I really admire them for living life as lifelong learners.

As Albert Einstein said “Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death.”

So learning should always be embrace regardless of age and status.

To become one, one must be able to stay active in the mind, ignite one’s curiosity …. and as Clay P. Bedford mentioned “You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.”

Kudos to them and to all future lifelong learners 🙂
