Quote on life by Ibn Taymiyyah

“Don’t depend too much on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in darkness” – Ibn Taymiyyah

So true ….

“Your shadow never leaves you when you are in darkness, it’s still there, just not really as easily vissible. One meets selfish people in life and learns to deal with difficult people in life and in a way all those people are our teachers, seeing it from spiritual aspect. It is better indeed to do things on your own if the people that suround you aren’t precisely consistent and your higher self can indeed point you in the right direction, you just have to be alert and jump on the opportunites that come around for you to do something for you to be self-sufficient and not worry about others leaving you or if your own shadow leave you; in such a case, just wave goodbye to anybody that wants to take off (that goes for your shadow too). After all, you came into this world alone (unless you’re twins with someone) and you will leave alone.” – unknown
